🌟 Introducing the Community Connection Circle
At 3:00 PM, we will officially launch the Community Connection Circle—a community-wide art installation created in partnership with the McCall Arts & Humanities Council.
Children, families, and community members are invited to paint a rock and add it to a growing installation that will encircle our newly revitalized outdoor gathering space. This collaborative project blends public art, storytelling, and community participation into a living expression of connection and belonging.
Throughout the summer, community members will continue contributing painted rocks, gradually building a full circle around the space—each one representing a person, family, or organization contributing to the fabric of our community.
The outdoor area is currently being improved in partnership with the City of McCall and will be formally dedicated this fall during our annual Oktoberfeast for Seniors celebration. The Community Connection Circle will remain as a lasting visual symbol of the people, partnerships, and shared effort that brought this space to life.

🚐 Why It Matters
Last year, our community came together and helped launch something much bigger than a fundraiser.
Through those efforts, we were able to begin building a Transportation Program pilot for the greater McCall area. Those funds have been used to:
* Prepare and equip the program vehicle
* Establish required legal and operational frameworks, including waivers and compliance structure
* Secure software and administrative systems
* Begin a phased, real-world rollout of services
This year’s event represents the next stage of that work.
We will be sharing how the Transportation Program operates, what we’ve learned so far from the pilot phase, and what expansion could look like through partnerships with organizations such as Toby’s Place, the McCall Public Library, and Rolling Tomato to strengthen food security, social connection, and access to essential services.
Proceeds from this event will help:
* Sustain and expand transportation services
* Support ongoing program operations
* Strengthen community partnerships
* Increase access for seniors and rural residents across the region
* Build long-term sustainability for the Transportation Program pilot and beyond
Together, we're building a more connected, compassionate, and accessible community—from summer engagement to our fall Oktoberfeast for Seniors celebration and beyond.
