Join us for an evening of music, movement, and spring celebration at our Maypole Social.We’ll begin with a community potluck at 6:00 PM. Please feel free to arrive a little early if you’d like time to get set up. Bring a dish to share and, if you’re able, fresh flowers to help adorn the maypole.
After the potluck, we’ll gather for maypole decorating and family-friendly English dances. Together we’ll weave the ribbons into colorful patterns, guided in a relaxed and welcoming way so everyone can join in.
Musicians are invited to be part of the informal, volunteer Folklore Village Band and help bring the dances to life.
This is a participatory evening for all ages. No experience needed.
Admission:
$10 Adults
$8 Seniors & Teens
$5 Kids
Free for children under 5
$25 household cap
What to bring:
• A dish to share for the potluck
• Fresh flowers for maypole decorating (optional)
• Comfortable shoes for dancing
