🚨Have you ever struggled to find the right local government office, figure out who to contact about a community concern, or locate information about services available in your area? We want to hear from YOU!
The Picayune Mayor’s Youth Council invites the public to join us for a Community Brainstorming Session on November 16th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM!
As part of their major community service project for the year, the Mayor’s Youth Council is working to develop a Public Service Announcement (PSA) Website that will serve easy-to-access to lots of Important information all in one spot.
But before we build it, we want to know what YOU think should be included!
What local services, government resources, and community information do you wish were easier to find? What questions have you had trouble finding answers to? Are there departments, organizations, or services that you think residents should know more about?
This is an opportunity for local residents to share their experiences, questions, ideas, and suggestions. The information gathered will help guide the Youth Council in determining what resources and information would be most beneficial to our community.
Please note: This is a brainstorming and information-gathering session, not a meeting intended to provide immediate answers or resolve individual concerns. Our goal is to listen to the public and use your input to create a useful, informative resource that makes navigating local services and government information easier for everyone. Please hold off on discussing in the comments, we’d love to have you in person!
