The City of Los Alamitos invites the community to attend the 2026 Mayor’s Ball, “Capital Chic” with Mayor Tanya Doby, presented by Universal Waste Systems (UWS) on Saturday, August 22 at 5:30 p.m., at the Los Alamitos Community Center. This inaugural event benefits the Los Alamitos Community Foundation and will bring together residents, business leaders, elected officials, and community partners for an unforgettable evening of style, entertainment, and civic celebration.
Inspired by timeless elegance and modern style, “Capital Chic” will transform the Los Alamitos Community Center into a refined and vibrant gathering space featuring curated wine and whiskey tastings, delicious cuisine, live entertainment, and meaningful opportunities to connect with fellow community members.
A special highlight of the evening will be the recognition of prominent City sponsors whose continued support helps enhance City programs, events, and community initiatives throughout the year.
Guests will enjoy sampling a variety of wines and premium whiskeys while celebrating the spirit of Los Alamitos and supporting community engagement. The Mayor’s Ball is one of the City’s signature events, benefiting the Los Alamitos Community Foundation and showcasing the partnerships and community pride that continue to make Los Alamitos a thriving and connected city. Parking will be available at the Community Center and Oak Middle School. Those who park at Oak Middle School will be shuttled by Los Al Link to the Community Center.
