Join our vibrant English Conversation Group at Mayfair Library – a weekly opportunity for adults learning English as a second language to connect, practice speaking skills, and build confidence in a friendly and inclusive environment.
What to Expect:
🗣️ Engaging Conversations: Practice your speaking skills in a relaxed and informal setting.
🌍 Diverse Community: Connect with fellow learners from various backgrounds.
📚 All Levels Welcome: While we encourage all levels to join, a basic knowledge of English is necessary to participate in conversations.
Booking Information:
Secure your spot by booking for the weeks you plan to attend. In case of any schedule changes, we'll notify you via email through Eventbrite. To stay updated and connected with the group, consider joining our Whatsapp group on your first day.
You will be welcomed to the beautiful Mayfair Library Rooms overlooking Mount Street Gardens, a perfect backdrop for learning and socialising. Photo below.
N.B. Unfortunately there's no wheelchair access at this library. There are some steps to the library entrance door and classes take place on the first floor with no lift. However, access toilets are located on the same floor. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Meet Our Dedicated Volunteer:
Our sessions are led by the wonderful Michael, a dedicated volunteer teacher with over a year of experience in teaching English for Westminster Libraries. With a background in language schools and as a tour guide in London, Michael knows just how to make you feel comfortable and motivated to speak!
