Mayan Cacao Ceremony

In this Mayan cacao ceremony, we will honor cacao as a sacred medicine to open the heart. We will use this sacred medicine to invite you to go deep within yourself...reconnect. You will leave feeling lighter and free.

Cacao is a power plant and therefore has great healing powers, it opens up the heart to receive blessings and goodness which are our divine right. Drinking a cacao brew with intention and meditation moves the self to a higher state of being, it connects us to the source so we can shine like the bright being that we are.

What to expect?

Upon arrival there will be an individual copal cleanse using ancestral sahumador with copal resin in order for every participant to enter the ceremony in a peaceful
way. We will then join a circle and open the ceremony invoquing the four corners of the earth and do a little breathing exercise. After this each one will receive a cacao cup which has been toasted and peeled by hand, it has been sung to and prayed to and we will embark in a peaceful guided meditation followed by silent meditation. At the end there will be the opportunity for a little dance.
