The Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library are excited to welcome award winning children’s author Maya Myers to the Mt. Pleasant Literary Festival. Her debut picture book, NOT LITTLE, was named a 2022 ALSC Notable Children’s Book and Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. Her newest title, Good Morning, Morning! releases this spring. Join Maya for a special children’s story time presentation at 11:30am on Thursday, March 19, 2026.The Mt. Pleasant Literary Festival: Chapter 2: The Story Unfolds is a three day celebration of books, authors, and the literary arts, coming to the Mt. Pleasant Library on March 19-21, 2026.
