Join the Oshawa Art Association for an inspiring evening with professional watercolourist Hi-Sook Barker!Known for her vibrant floral works and stunning Canadian landscapes, Hi-Sook brings an impressionistic touch to the medium that truly makes her subjects glow. With over 30 years of experience as a full-time instructor and a career spanning numerous solo and juried exhibits, she is a wealth of knowledge for artists of all levels.
During this session, we’ll dive into her process and witness a live demonstration of the techniques that earned her elected membership in the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC) and signature status with the Toronto Watercolour Society (TWS).

About the Artist:
Hi-Sook has been a cornerstone of the Ontario art instruction community for three decades. Since becoming an elected member of the CSPWC in 2000, she has continued to push the boundaries of watercolour, creating expressive, atmosphere-driven pieces that capture the beauty of the natural world.
