May Herb of the Month: Dandelion with Kathryn Cahill-Draper

As spring begins blooming into summer and the days feel more abuzz with the balancing acts of daily life and the heaviness in the collective, take an evening to pause and drop in with the herbal guardian of grounding Dandelion. A beacon of resilience and the natural cycles of life, Dandelion supports us in releasing that which no longer serves in order to regain connection with our roots.

Join herbalist and folkloric Green Witch, Kathryn Cahill-Draper, for an evening of community and herbal medicine making as we explore the many gifts of Dandelion. Together we will craft a custom herbal elixir, explore Dandelion's connection to the themes of the season, and practice tools for grounding and reconnection to self in times of uncertainty. Participants will receive a 5oz bottle of Dandelion Elixir, in addition to the monthly Materia Medica with recipes and resources used in class.

Kathryn Cahill-Draper is a professional Herbalist, Reproductive Health Doula, Reiki Master Teacher, and lifelong folkloric green witch. Educated in the Wise Woman Tradition by practitioners such as Robin Rose Bennet, 7Song La, Damiana Rose, and Jordan Stanton, Kathryn brings an eclectic perspective to the ways we can bridge the gap between the practical and the mystical aspects of herbalism.
