Join us for a magical night under the full moon at The Space - House of Performing Arts and Movement! Get ready to let loose, connect with your inner self, and dance the night away in a welcoming and vibrant community. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to release stress and embrace the energy of the full moon. Come check out this unique ceremonial experience to dance, connect, and celebrate life!

The ceremony opens with a welcome circle and guided somatic practice to drop into the body and explore the energy of the Full Moon as follows:

April Full Moon in Libra - Air sign, balanced, relational, graceful, soft, breezy

May Full Moon in Sagittarius - Fire sign, expansive, adventurous, philosophical, seeker

June Full Moon in Capricorn - Earth sign, manager, leader, driven, structured, principled

The opening flows into a movement journey to a music playlist inspired by the archetypal energy of the lunar cycle. My musical taste is diverse so playlists incorporate a wide variety of genres including dance, electronic, world, neo-classical, house, retro, blues, alternative, ambient, indie, pop and more.

Each song invites you into the rhythm of your own body, and you are invited to follow the impulse to move as it arises, allowing your body to move in a way that feels good to you. The only coreography is that of your own heart and soul!

As the playlist rises and falls again in tempo, you're invited to rest in integration and join a closing circle.

Wear comfortable clothing in layers . You'll need to bring:

• water or hydrating beverage
• yoga mat,cushion or blanket for resting comfortably on the floor (if desired)
• something to add to the community altar (if desired)

Community Guidelines - by registering for this event you agree to the following:

1. This is not a pick-up, singles, or spectator event.
2. Practice consent if seeking to engage in partner dancing or physical contact. Limit physical contact to friends/partners who you know already, and who consent to contact.
3. The movement/dance portion of this ceremony is largely unfacilitated. As a participant, you agree to take care of your own physical needs or limitations by slowing down, taking breaks or resting when needed.
4. This is an alcohol-free event. Refrain from consuming acoholic beverages before and during the Temple.
5. This is an opportunity for deep self-connection and creative expression. Sometimes emotions move through the body and freedom to express benefits the whole community. While I love little people, this event is not suitable for children or teens under the age of 19.

The location - The Space has a spectacular view of the inlet and is conveniently located in the Lonsdale Quay for those traveling from the Vancouver side. Seabus and transit recommended as parking can be challenging on Friday nights. If you're driving, come early to find a spot and walk to the venue!

Doors open 15 minutes prior to 7:00. Come early to settle in, use the restroom, pull an oracle card, set an intention, sit with the community altar, etc.
