Join us for the first Solidiary Skills Exchange held here in Brentwood. Expect a day full of workshops to help build skills to help your community and neighbors. The event will have multiple organizations in attendance as well to help show how you can get involved right here at home.

How Implicit Bias is Dividing our Movement
Host: Together We Stand

Info: This one-hour mini workshop introduces the Life Experience and Values Inventory (LEVI) as a reflective tool to explore how implicit biases are formed through our lived experiences and social conditioning. Participants will examine how these biases shape the way they show up in relationships and community spaces, and begin building awareness for more intentional, accountable engagement.

Info: Solano Napa Med. Response’s ASAP class community program is based on EMS training to help citizens practice their constitutional right to protest in a safe manner, and to assist organizers in maintaining the safety of those engaged in civil actions.

Our introduction to ASAP will cover its acronym: “Assist, Support, Aid & Prevention” and discuss how we train this class to the community and how it’s is put in practice at an active event.
