Every year on May 1st (or "May Day") working people around the world join together for a day of remembrance and demonstrations. This day is also known as "International Workers’ Day" and celebrates the history of labor organizing.This year, there will be *No work*, *No school*, and *No shopping*! Instead we are taking to the streets with the following demands:
– Tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first
– ICE out: no unchecked federal enforcement power in our communities
– Expand democracy, not corporate control; defend free and fair elections
