May Crochet Class Series

Learn the fundamentals of crochet, master essential stitches, and gain the confidence to read and follow crochet patterns! Each session will follow a structured lesson plan, with "homework" assignments to help you practice between classes.

To support your learning, I'll create a group chat where I'll share personalized video tutorials for each lesson and provide a space for questions and community support.

For the final project, you'll have the option to crochet either a bucket hat or a bag and showcase your work on our last day together. By the end of this series, you'll be well on your way to becoming a crochet pro! 😉

Class Breakdown:

Each class will have its own lesson plan with 1 week to complete “homework”:

Session 1 (05.03) - Learning crochet fundamentals & basic stitches

Session 2 (05.10) - Learning how to read & follow a crochet pattern

Session 3 (05.17) - Introduction to final project + beginning work on final project

Session 4 (05.24) - Project presentations

Materials Provided:

Each student will be given their own crochet kit which will include:

• 5mm crochet hook
• one skein of yarn
• scissors
• darning needle
• stitch markers
