🎨 First Fridays Season Kickoff: Creative Crawl – May 2 | 4PM–9PM 🎨
Join us as we launch the First Fridays 2025 season with Creative Crawl, a downtown-wide celebration of art, creativity, and community! From hands-on art stations and live demonstrations to local author readings and pop-up shows, there’s something to inspire everyone.
✨ Highlights All Around Downtown:
Pick up your Arts Passport (courtesy of Artist Gallery) and collect stamps as you explore Creative Crawl stations—complete your passport for a chance at prizes!
Printmaking Stations around downtown (pending city approval!)—try your hand at this interactive art form.
Window Art – Grab washable markers and let your creativity shine on select downtown windows, provided by Racine Art Museum (RAM)!
🎶 At Racine Art Museum:
RAM Art Party with a live DJ and art-making stations inside
Draw on RAM’s windows and join outdoor interactive printmaking using Racine’s own manhole covers and sidewalk inlays (pending city approval)
🖼️ At Hotel Verdant:
Explore all room floors, meet artists featured in the HV collection, and enjoy live talks and demos
Co-curator Maureen Fritchen will be on-site to greet guests
🔥 At Hot Shop Glass:
Watch a guest artist demonstration and explore a pop-up show
Be inspired by chalk artists decorating the path from Main Street to Hot Shop Glass with words and imagery
🖼️ At Photographic Design Gallery & Framing
Featuring three talented guest artists showing their beautiful three-dimensional works of glass and pottery. Adding to the ambiance, the talented Nolan Boerner captivating cello music will create the perfect backdrop for the evening. 411 Sixth St.

Catch talented sketchers in action throughout downtown, capturing the magic of Creative Crawl

Create kite-inspired window art and get your passport stamped with artist-made stamps

Local Authors Night – Meet and greet local writers, listen to excerpt readings, and discover your next great read
