Join DC EcoWomen for an in-person EcoHour featuring water and climate adaptation expert, Naabia Ofosu-Amaah from The Nature Conservancy's Corporate Engagement team! This moderated discussion will highlight Naabia's career path, and work engaging Fortune 500 companies on mainstreaming nature-based solutions.

Speaker Bio:
Naabia Ofosu-Amaah focuses on developing and implementing the strategy for engaging companies and development finance institutions (DFIs) to further TNC’s resilient watersheds goals. This work is focused on ensuring companies are responsible stewards of their water resources and that they and DFIs are mainstreaming nature-based solutions for water security and climate resilience and adaptation. Naabia also represents TNC in water-related industry initiatives. Naabia also serves as the relationship for a few of TNC’s relationships with key Fortune 500 companies, which includes input into the corporate water strategies of leading food and beverage, water service and technology companies. Naabia was the lead author on the Nature-based solutions and corporate water stewardship publication.
Naabia joined TNC in January 2017 after seven years at the Global Environment & Technology Foundation (GETF), also in Arlington, VA. At GETF, Naabia managed The Coca-Cola Company’s $65MM Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN), which delivered on its goal to provide 2 million people with water access by 2015. This included a secondment to The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In addition to her BA from Harvard College in Environmental Science and Public Policy, Naabia holds a Master’s degree in Environment, Society, and Development from the University of Cambridge.
