Dirty Rock & Roll Dance Party presents "MAXIMUM⚡DOOM" - the concert series showcasing the best in heavy metal, with an emphasis on stoner rock, doom metal, and hard psych. This night we feature a pair of Seattle doom sludge metal bands, a local stoner doom metal powerhouse, and for the first time a liquid light projectionist doing psychedelic visuals at a Maximum Doom night.

About 'III', their third album:
“Sonolith’s third release was envisioned and summoned into being over the course of two years, burning the candle from both ends while working day jobs, performing live shows, writing, and recording. Sonolith became a four piece with the addition of our second guitarist, allowing for live performance of the densely layered, cinematic, and kinetic instrumental compositions that the band’s come to be known for. ‘III’ tells a story in sound and symbolism of a fraught journey undertaken to escape the persecution of a psychotic tormentor, through the high peaks and low troughs, towards eventually obtaining freedom and spiritual emancipation.”

SORCIA hails from the Snoqualmie Valley in the backwoods of Seattle, Washington. Combining blues-laden groovy riffs, heavy doom and raw grunge with the added dynamic of dual vocals, they deliver their own method of Pacific Northwest stoner sludge metal.
Sorcia entered the studio with Tad Doyle (Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, TAD) in June of 2019 to record their debut full-length album 'Sorcia', completing it with Jack Endino (High On Fire, Windhand, Nirvana) at the mastering helm. Self-released on March 13, 2020, it immediately received acclaimed reviews, solidifying Sorcia as one of the Seattle area's best up and coming heavy acts of 2020.
Underground buzz began to grow and Sorcia ultimately caught the eye of Desert Records and in early 2021 they inked a deal with the Albuquerque, NM based label. Sorcia once again entered the studio with Tad Doyle in April 2021 and recorded the EP 'Death By Design' as well as material for their next full-length. The monster of an EP showcases the bands versatility and dynamics by featuring a 16 minute title track and an acoustic bonus track 'Dusty' (recorded/mixed by Matt Bos). 'Death By Design' was released on July 16, 2021 via Desert Records and was well received among the heavy underground, once again receiving many acclaimed reviews and a world premiere via Doomed & Stoned.
On July 21, 2023, Sorcia released their highly anticipated sophomore full-length album 'Lost Season' via Desert Records. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Tad Doyle, it immediately made big waves in the stoner/doom community, garnering several acclaimed reviews and landing at #4 on the Doom Charts.
Sorcia has several Western US tours under their belt, as well as multiple festival appearances including Burque Rock City Fest, Rain City Doom Fest, Rocky Mountain Riff Fest and RippleFest Texas 2023. They are currently working on the completion of their third full-length album with plans to record in Spring 2025.

MOTHER ROOT - Hailing from Snoqualmie, Washington, Mother Root has made waves in the Seattle music scene since early 2019 with their unique blend of high-energy sludge and heavy fuzz. Comprised of brothers Dylan and Jaden Reed, the duo has effortlessly solidified their sound, captivating listeners with their powerful performances and raw musical prowess. In 2023 the self-made EP, "Clamour of Souls" was released. Showcasing their growth as musicians and songwriters. While their recorded music is captivating, it is on the stage where Mother Root truly shines. With multiple tours of the northwestern states under their belt, the band has developed a reputation for delivering electrifying live performances.
