Maximising Pupil Progress – An Inclusive Approach
About this Event
At Bishop Douglass, we enable outstanding outcomes by treating every student as an individual. We take a multi-faceted, evidence-informed approach to maximise pupil progress and address any barriers to learning, supporting attendance, behaviour, happiness and a love of learning. Inclusion is central to our mission, and we are proud of the education we provide for all learners.
During their visit, attendees will have the opportunity to speak one to one with the teachers and leaders responsible for different aspects of our provision, as well as visiting lessons and speaking to pupils. We are keen to share effective practice, but we recognise the importance of robust evaluation.
This workshop therefore focuses on evaluating impact, enabling us to share what we do well but also learn from the expertise of others. Collaboration is essential to continually improve outcomes for all pupils, and we intend that this will provide an opportunity to share good practice in terms of both educational provision and evaluation processes.
Key Takeaways:

- Identified practical strategies to strengthen pupil progress in their own schools.
