Maximalist Minis with Electric Flora
Join floral designer Michelle Rech of Electric Flora, ceramicst Liz Wilson of Speckled Selkie, and mixed media artist Kris Noyes for an immersive afternoon exploring the intersection of flowers, ceramics, and art. Michelle will lead an Intentional Maximalism floral design workshop, sharing the principles that define her distinctive style highlighting her current era which is a focus on intentional restraint to create maximum impact via a smaller sculptural floral experience. Every stem earns its place!
Participants will also learn the foundations of foam-free floral mechanics, creating sustainable designs in handcrafted ceramic vessels made by Liz Wilson. Liz will share her creative process and journey!!
After the floral designs are complete, mixed media artist Kris Noyes will guide participants in creating gestural mixed media portraits inspired by their own arrangements!!
All materials are included, including a handcrafted Speckled Selkie vase, seasonal flowers, and art supplies for the renderings!!!
