For over 12 years, on the 2nd Sunday of each month, Empanada Milonga at St. Clement's in Berkeley has been delighting tango dancers and music fans with what many say is the sweetest afternoon milonga in the Bay Area.
Located on the safe, tree-lined streets of the Claremont area in Berkeley, the milonga is held in the fabulous, sunny 1928 Fellowship Hall of St. Clement's, with windows overlooking gardens, and fabulous oak floors and high-beamed craftsman ceilings.
This month, we bring back great teachers Maxi & Karu before they return to Bs.As. after their USA tour. They will teach and demo. The milonga features our favorite band OZ3 playing both traditional and alternative tango, and our fabulous DJ Don An + free wine and refreshments.
