Prince of Peace will honor Maundy Thursday, the night of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples, by hosting a Seder meal. A Seder is a contemporary Jewish meal based on the same Passover meal Jesus was eating that night. We will gather in the sanctuary to enjoy lamb or vegetable stew as we settle in for the Seder. Throughout the experience, we will use traditional food, rituals, and traditions to help us remember God's saving work in the Exodus story. Hopefully as we participate in the Seder, we will also find ourselves more deeply connected to Jesus' saving work as he described it during his final Passover with his disciples and which he continues to share with us each time we celebrate Holy Communion.This is a family friendly, multi-generational experience. We would like all ages to attend, babies to grandparents!
Please register by Palm Sunday, March 29, so we can plan accordingly. There are also many volunteer opportunities if you're available to help.
