Celebrate the start of Labor Day Weekend with a soulful evening at the Alaloa Lounge, featuring a live performance by rising star Tiera Kennedy as part of the Maui Songwriters Festival Summer Series.
Born in Gardendale, Alabama, the 27-year-old R&B, country, and gospel trailblazer is making waves with her debut album ROOTED, released in October 2024. Tiera’s powerful voice and heartfelt songwriting have earned her a feature on Beyoncé’s GRAMMY-winning Cowboy Carter, collaborations with Dolly Parton and Dionne Warwick, and mentorship from Shania Twain.
She’s opened for Kelsea Ballerini, Nelly, and more, and currently serves as direct support for GRAMMY-nominated duo The War & Treaty.
Just off the resort’s lobby lānai, Alaloa Lounge boasts an extensive craft cocktail menu highlighting local ingredients, an elaborate sushi and sashimi menu, and elevated comfort cuisine. Live music is offered seven nights a week. Valet parking is complimentary.
