Paint the North! presents a Tuesday evening Paint Nite at Propeller Brewing Co., where we’ll gather to create a colourful Maud Lewis-inspired “Jelly Bean Houses” painting together.
Inspired by the joyful colours, charming houses, and simple folk-art style of Nova Scotia’s beloved artist Maud Lewis, this fun and beginner-friendly painting will take you step by step through creating your own colourful little village of houses.
No painting experience is needed! You’ll learn simple techniques for creating bright houses, reflections, trees, flowers, and a playful coastal landscape, all while enjoying a relaxed evening at Propeller Brewing Co. with friends, a drink, and plenty of creativity.
Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or you’re already a seasoned painter, you’ll leave with a cheerful painting that’s uniquely your own.
