Come join us at Gx Studio, UoA Recreation Centre for the ultimate mix of Māori martial art movement and fitness. Mau Rakau is a unique experience where you can learn about the rich history and techniques of this ancient practice. Our skilled instructor will guide you through the movements and philosophy behind Mau Rakau, offering a hands-on learning experience like no other.

A great way to connect with our Rec Centre community and learn something new in a friendly and inclusive environment.

We recommend wearing non-restrictive clothing, and bringing a water bottle and sweat towel. Mau Rakau will be provided.
