Heart disease is the #1 killer of women. Learn the warning signs, bust the myths, and protect your heart at this must-attend event.
About this Event

What's the greatest health threat facing American women? If you answered breast cancer, you're not alone—but you'd be wrong.

The sobering truth: one in three women will die from heart disease each year, compared to one in 39 from breast cancer. Yet heart disease in women remains dangerously overlooked and misunderstood.

In this essential presentation led by Penny Stern, MD, MPH, Chief of Preventive & Lifestyle Medicine at the Katz Institute for Women’s Health, you'll discover:

  • Why heart disease is the #1 killer of both women and men in America
  • How cardiovascular disease affects 43 million women in the U.S.—and why women account for nearly half of all heart disease deaths
  • The unique warning signs and risk factors that women need to know
  • Practical, evidence-based strategies to protect your heart and potentially save your life

This isn't just another health talk—it's information that could change your life or the life of someone you love. Heart disease may be common, but it doesn't have to be inevitable.

Join us on January 25th from 5:30–8:30 PM for light bites, great conversation, and valuable connections as we separate myth from fact and learn what you can do today to safeguard your heart health.

Space is limited—register today to secure your spot!
