Come join us hosted in partnership with Senior Resource Alliance at AdventHealth Well65+ Sanford to feel steady on your feet again. A Matter of Balance is a program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase the activity levels of older adults who have this concern.
A Matter of Balance is a structured group intervention that utilizes a variety of activities to address physical, social, and cognitive factor affecting fear of falling and to teach fall prevention strategies. The activities include group discussion, problem-solving, skill building, assertiveness training, videotapes, sharing practical solutions, and exercise training.
Most importantly, this is a supportive space for you to have a chance to connect, share, learn and grow stronger together.
