Do you have concerns about falling? Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. Who should attend?
*Age 60 or older
*Anyone concerned about falls
*Anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength
*Anyone who has fallen in the past
*Anyone who has restricted activities because of a fall
Class size is limited to 12 participants. Please call Jamie Barbiere at 906.225.7760 from Lake Superior Hospice or call the Marquette Senior center to obtain registration and more information.
Classes will be held weekly on Tuesdays from November 5th - December 17th from 12-2 p.m. One class will happen on Thursday November 21st because of the holidays.
