Join our community event: "Matinée française"! to have a friendly moment of exchange or develop your skills through fun activities for adults and kids, on Saturdays between 10am and 1pm at the Alliance française Suriname, Letitia Vriesdelaan 14. The main activity of the morning involves the "Tandem" sessions: practicing each other's language for 30 minutes. So you can practice some French with native speakers for free in exchange for some Sranangtongo or Dutch.
With all who are interested, we also engage in various activities ranging from vocabulary to (sports)games and crafts, each Saturday with a new theme. Participation for the themed activities is 100 SRD.
"Matinée française" meaning "French morning" is an initiative of the French Embassy in Suriname, Alliance Française Suriname and Paramaribo Accueil, happening every Saturday with a different theme and different activities.
French breakfast items are available for purchase at Bistro Le Quatorze la Terrasse.
