MATRIKAH

MATRIKAH is an observation of the interwoven ties between Nature and the Female Body through the lens of Indian history and society. This piece uses contemporary dance work, heavily infused with Indian classical and folk dance elements, to frame the experiences and expressions of the female form. It does not cater to political leanings or condemnatory complaints directed towards any gender. It simply stands as a mirror of the labyrinthine of feelings, movement, rebellion, and rebirth that is Womanhood.

MONSOON

MONSOON is the latest creation of the Yenidze Theatre ensemble. Inspired by the life-giving force of the Indian monsoon, the production explores transformation, longing, devotion, beauty and renewal through music, movement, light and atmosphere. The performance creates an intercultural artistic landscape where ancient traditions and contemporary artistic expression meet. Through music, dance and visual storytelling, MONSOON invites audiences into a shared experience that transcends language and cultural boundaries.
