Desired Outcomes:
- What is teaching for mastery and how does it link to the 5 big ideas? (Leaders reflect on a lesson, focussing on the impact of teaching – direct instruction / explanation / modelling.)
- Build on your knowledge as a leader – effective TLA & provision in Maths. (Unit planning and DSAT TLA Blueprint).
- What is our universal offer in mathematics, and what is it not? (Fidelity to teaching for mastery.)
- How do we effectively and systematically support children who are significantly behind? (Essential pathway in mathematics).
- Number sense check for effectiveness as a maths leader. (Leaders reflect on a number sense lesson to better understand WAGOLL and the position of this lesson with the NS sequence.)
