Matcha Tasting Open House at Rove Kyoto

Join us at Rove Kyoto for a matcha tasting experience inside our new Japanese-inspired coworking and lounge space.
About this Event

Guests will be guided through a traditional-style matcha tasting featuring organic, first-harvest matcha from Uji, Japan — a region long celebrated for producing some of the country’s finest green tea. This small-format experience is designed to be relaxed, educational, and approachable, whether you are new to matcha or already enjoy it as part of your daily routine.

Set within Rove Kyoto’s calm, design-forward space, the tasting invites guests to slow down, learn more about matcha, and enjoy a curated moment of tea, conversation, and community.

What to expect:

1. An introduction to Uji matcha and traditional preparation
2. A guided matcha tasting
3. Time to explore the Rove Kyoto lounge and coworking space

After the tasting, guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the lounge for up to 1 hour. To help us maintain a comfortable experience for all guests, we kindly ask that visits are limited to a maximum of 1 hour after the tasting.

Important: Please arrive 10 minutes early. The matcha tasting will start at the booking time, and we are unable to delay the start for late arrivals.
