About this Event

The Embassy of Japan in Canada is hosting a matcha event on August 26, featuring Mr. Nakamura Mitsuhiro, Chief Mixologist at the Park Hyatt London River Thames, to introduce new ways of enjoying matcha that bridge tradition and modernity. Mr. Nakamura is also a certified instructor of traditional Japanese tea ceremony. He specializes in matcha-based cocktails, blending traditional matcha with a modern drinking experience. The event will begin with a traditional tea ceremony demonstration, followed by an introduction to matcha cocktails along with tastings and networking with light refreshments.

Note: Reservations made through Eventbrite are provisional only. Submitting an application through Eventbrite does not constitute a confirmed reservation. On Sunday, August 16, the Embassy will send a confirmation email. Once you receive this email, please reply to it by Wednesday, August 19 to confirm your attendance. Please note that if we do not receive a reply by the deadline, your reservation will be treated as cancelled. If a cancellation occurs, a spot will become available for booking through Eventbrite, so please check the site periodically.
