Join us for a relaxed and enlightened evening at the beautiful indoor bar at Brass Rabbit. Whether you’re new to the DMV, rediscovering the dating scene, or simply interested in meeting like-minded singles (ages 40-65), this night is designed for you.

We’ve partnered with Matchbox, a platform rooted in relationship science, to help you meet your most compatible match. With over half a million matches across 40 countries, the Matchbox algorithm focuses on long-term alignment — using values, goals, and personality traits — to suggest your ideal pairing at the event.

• Upon arrival, you’ll complete a short questionnaire created by relationship scientists and curated by your host.
• Matchbox’s algorithm will identify your most compatible match at the party — based on behavioral science, AI, and proven psychology.
• After light mingling with the full group, matches are revealed! There will be multiple rounds of matching!

This is an intentional event — not a speed-dating circus or noisy mixer. If sparks don’t fly instantly, that’s okay: you’ll still meet someone thoughtfully matched to your values. And at the very least, you'll be part of a quality group of like-minded singles.

• 7:45 PM – Match Groups are Revealed~
• 8:00 PM – You will meet your first match!
• 8:20 PM – You will meet your second match!
• 8:40 PM – You will meet your third match!

Q: What if I don’t get a match? A: We do our best to ensure an even mix, but life happens. If matches are uneven, some attendees may receive a platonic pairing and will be matched in the next round.

Q: Can I get a refund? A: We plan carefully for balance, so no refunds within 4 days of the event. However, we may issue a credit in certain cases.

This is a MatchBox Elite event so each guest guest receives up to 3 curated matches.

Please note, as one of Matchbox’s premiere events, we will record footage of the experience to publish on social media. By RSVPing, attendees consent to being on camera.
