Matariki Set Menu at the Thistle Inn

Gather whānau and friends this Matariki for an evening of shared kai at Thistle Inn.
On Thursday 9 July, we’ll be serving a specially curated four-course set menu designed to bring people together around the table in celebration of Matariki - a time for reflection, connection, and hospitality.
Expect generous seasonal dishes, warm atmosphere, and an evening made for slowing down and enjoying good company.

Butter poached mussels, kina cream sauce, harakeke dust, fry bread
Main - served family style
Slow braised lamb shoulder, horopito dukkah

• Sautéed silverbeet & puha, garlic, lemon

Housemade rewena bread with whipped cultured butter
Dessert
Apple & rhubarb crumble, kawakawa infused custard
