The Kaumaatua Ball is our way of saying thank you. It is a day to give back to our kaumaatua, to honour them for sharing the traditions that guide us. We come together to celebrate them with music, kai, and whakawhaanaungatanga. They are our pou, the foundation of our whaanau, our marae, and our communities.
