The CityHurst and ArtsNET are pleased to welcome Michael Hix Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the pavilion at Hurts Community Park.
Michael Hix is an Entertainer . He is a professional Singer, Songwriter, Actor, Producer, and Emcee Personality. For the past twenty years, Michael has been entertaining audiences across the country and in Canada. He has performed on LIVE, National Television, Public Broadcasts, and has lent his vocal talents to numerous radio commercials, audio books, and character voices. Originally from Amarillo, he, along with his wife and daughter, currently live in Arlington, TX.
Michael’s versatility as a performer, vocal range, and stage presence has allowed him to join the stage along side such acts as Cher, Bret Michaels, Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, Sara Evans, Willie Nelson, Tony Orlando, Lee Greenwood, The 5th Dimension, Charlie Daniels, and several others.
His first solo album, “Green Light” was released in 2011 and was well received in the Nashville market. In 2018 he released his first Christmas Single, “Crazy Like Clark (at Christmas), and the following year, he released an all original EP entitled “Changes,” and a follow up single “Forever Here With Me.”
Through the MasterWorks Series, Arts Council Northeast and the City of Hurst present free performances on selected evenings throughout the year. The MasterWorks Series is designed to offer a variety of quality family entertainment to the community by utilizing the talent of local, regional, and national artists.
