‼️ ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️
Dear MotS-ly Crew,
We want to let you know about an important update for the future of the band. After four incredible years together, we have made the decision to bring Masters of the Scene to an end. This has been a mutual decision, and we remain the very best of friends, but it's time now for us both to pursue our other passions and projects. Our mothers will also be very happy to never hear us drop 'C' bombs in front of them again.
We've achieved so much, from being invited to the Musical Comedy Awards in London to playing Beat-Herder festival to headlining at some of our favourite comedy venues. We've been everywhere from Leyland to Hull to Stoke to Wales. We've released two albums, been featured on podcasts, and played support for our favourite bands. We've made friends for life.
We will shortly be adding an event and would like to invite you to a very special farewell show on Friday 21st November at Beer Box. Mark gave us our very first paid gig as a duo, and we are delighted to be finishing where we started. We'll be playing our entire backlog from start to finish, and we hope you'll join us for an evening of celebration and give MotS a stupendous send off. We've got one final surprise for you to honour this show, so keep your eyes peeled!
To everyone who came to a gig or open mic performance, to everyone who streamed our music, to everyone who bought tshirts and CD's, to every venue who gave us a chance and to everyone who supported us on this bonkers journey - thank you.
