About the Class: This engaging two-hour introductory improv class is perfect for beginners eager to explore unscripted scene-based long-form comedy. You'll learn to silence your inner critic, embrace spontaneity, and have fun! Whether your goal is to perform on stage, enhance public speaking skills, push your boundaries, or meet new people, this class is for you. Performance experience is not required!

• Mastering improv principles with "Yes, and…" and "If This, Then What?"
• Staying present and in the moment
• Active listening techniques
• Silencing overthinking
• Supporting your scene partner
• Amplifying scenes using emotions
• Engaging with your environment
• Utilizing body and voice for memorable character creation

Class dates may adjust due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Participant Guidelines: Open to individuals 18 years and older, this active class involves movement. Wear comfortable clothing and avoid open-toed shoes, flip-flops, or heels.
