Learn five mindsets to lead with clarity, adaptability and humanity in complexity with Lee Sears, co‑author of Mastering MESSY Leadership.
About this Event

Leadership today isn’t neat, linear, or controllable and never more so than in the world we’re leading in now. It’s messy.

In this engaging and practical session, we’re joined by Lee Sears, leadership consultant, coach, educator, and co‑author of Mastering MESSY Leadership (publishing later this year). Lee will explore what it really takes to lead effectively in complexity, drawing on insights from more than 10,000 coaching conversations and his work with senior leaders across global organisations through BTS.

Lee will introduce the five critical mindsets that enable leaders to:

  • navigate uncertainty with greater clarity
  • cut through overwhelm
  • adapt quickly and intelligently
  • lead with humanity in high‑pressure environments

You’ll have the opportunity to self‑assess against the five mindsets and identify one practical shift you can make in your own leadership, especially in situations that feel imponderable or ambiguous.

This session won’t be theory‑heavy or abstract. Expect a highly engaging, thought‑provoking experience filled with practical ideas you can apply immediately, whether you’re leading teams, organisations, or change in your own context.

Adding further depth and industry perspective, the session will also feature speakers from Wealthtime:

  • Toby Larkman, Managing Director
  • Sophie Hall, Commercial Director

They will share insights from their leadership experiences within a fast‑evolving financial services environment, offering real‑world reflections that complement the themes of messy, modern leadership.

This session won’t be theory‑heavy or abstract. Expect a highly engaging, thought‑provoking experience filled with practical ideas you can apply immediately, whether you’re leading teams, organisations, or driving change in your own context.
