Session 01 - Advanced DSE Assessor
- 25-26 November 2024
- Learn everyting about DSE Regulations 2002 by HSE UK
- This topic focuses on legal guiding on office ergonomics assessment for computer/laptop users in Malaysia
- This is a dedicated topic to enhance skillset and accommodate UK regulation into Malaysian practise. Malaysia currently does not have regulation in DSE/office ergonomics
- This topic focuses on protecting employees from associated risks of working with computer and laptop
- Lots of case studies and discussion
- Participants will be recognised by Pipit Contultant as Trained DSE Assessor
Session 02 - Task Analysis Methods
- 16 December 2024
- Practical guides on engineering and design
- This topic focuses on technique learning to represent human performance in a particular task or scenario under analysis (Anything that user interact with)
- There are more than 5 techniques available but this session only cover a single technique - Hierarchical Task Analysis
- This technique is versatile and can be done for many industries including high hazard areas as well as product design development
- Lots of case studies and discussion
Session 03 - Cognitive Task Analysis Methods
- 17 December 2024
- Practical guides on engineering and design
- This topic focuses on technique learning to describe and represent the unobservable cognitive aspects of task performance.
- This technique focuses on describing mental processes used by system operators in completing a task or set of tasks
- There are more than 7 techniques available but this session only cover a single technique - Applied Cognitive Task Analysis
- This technique is versatile and can be done for many industries including high hazard areas as well as product design development
- Lots of case studies and discussion
Session 04 - Ergonomics Trained Person Course (Advanced)
- 18-20 December 2024
- Learn everyting about Ergonomics Risk Assessment Guidelines at the Workplace 2017 by DOSH Malaysia
- This topic focuses on assessing and solving physical ergonomics issues
- Advance ERA tools – Methods to assess ergonomic risks. Highlighted (most used) of Ergonomics Risk Level Assessment tools (RULA, REBA, MAC, BORG, ART, ROSA, SNOOK, WERA).
- Lots of case studies and discussion
- Participants will be recognised by DOSH as Ergonomics Trained Person (Advanced) in DOSH website
Session 05 - Accident Analysis Methods
- 30-31 December 2024
- Practical guides on engineering and design
- This topic focuses on technique to predict any potential of human/operator error that may occur during task or interaction and quantify probability of error occurance
- There are more than 15 techniques available but this session only cover 2 techniques - Systematic Human Error Prediction & System Approach, Human Factors Analysis Classification System and Accimap
- This technique is versatile and can be done for many industries including high hazard areas as well as product design development
- Lots of case studies and discussion
