About this Event

Mental health issues from unresolved stress and unhealed trauma have become a prevalent malaise that plagues our society and households today with many victims, typically in Asian countries where emotions are suppressed and work pressure are huge. There is ample evidence that societal and organizational mental health are on the decline and corporate employee mental well-being has become a contingent issue. There is a direct correlation between stress level and propensity of divoice and according to published statistics he divorce rate for couples over 50 has doubled since 1990.

Life is stressful and we all want to master the art to decompress to perform better with relationship at home and at workplace. While we can't control external events, we have heard enough of the benefits of meditation, wellness retreat, therapy talks, yoga pilates, intra-nostril breathing etc, however there is no quick fix and it really boils down the individual introspection journey to address the root cause, either dysregulated nervous system, inability of setting boundary, unhealed inner child etc.

We had the privilege of inviting three distinguished speakers to unveil the causes of stress, how to many stress in different situations for those who are experiencing burnout at the work place, disconnections with desired relationships, emotional intimacy issues, depression, anxiety about future uncertainty/ life's direction etc.

Agenda:

  1. moderated talk with 3 panelists 5-6pm,
  2. guided meditation and breathing with the master Toby for 15 min,
  3. Q&A from Audience 15min
  4. free mingle and enjoying light refreshment
