About this Event
Master Gardeners are educated in research-based, non-biased gardening solutions and horticultural information through the UF/IFAS Extension Service. Along with the academic understanding, they bring their collective experiences in growing plants and maintaining landscapes in Southwest Florida for several years. During this one-hour yard consultations, 2 to 4 Master Gardeners review general concepts within the Florida-Friendly Landscaping framework as well as address specific concerns and issues within your residential yard. Each yard consultation receives an after-visit report taylored to yard.
This service is for you if:
- if you have problem areas in your yard where nothing seems to thrive.
- if you have a recurring issue with pests or diseases that you cannot seem to solve.
- if you want to design your landscape with Florida-Friendly practices in mind.
- if you want advice on how to "summer-ize" your landscape because are a snowbird.
