Join us on Sunday, February 8th, following the 5:30 PM screening for a post-film discussion with panelists Dr. Portia Marie York, founder of York Creative Education Group and Professor of Fiber Arts at Lenoir–Rhyne University; Tyla Barnes, director, writer, and producer; and Randi Gill-Sadler, Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at Davidson College. The discussion will be moderated by Afeni Grace, Black Carolina Initiative Director at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture.At an elite New England university built on the site of a Salem-era gallows hill, two black women strive to find their place.
