MassNFCA 14th Annual Alumni Thanksgiving

Join the Massachusetts Network of Foster Care Alumni (MassNFCA) for our 14th Annual Statewide Thanksgiving Dinner! Alumni, family, and friends of foster care will gather at the White Room in Worcester.

This year, we are back in-person for the first time since 2019- so this Thanksgiving is particularly special! Thanksgiving is a time for community and family, and we are excited to create a space where all alumni of "foster care" and "out-of-home placement" can come together, share a meal, and connect with one another as one big MassNFCA family.

Children and partners of foster care alumni welcome, and there is no cost to attend this event.

You are a 'current and/ or former foster youth' if you said YES to the following questions:
1. Were you in 'foster care' in ANY US state or country in the world for ANY period of time? (who are foster care alumni?)
2. Did you experience any of the following - foster homes, group care settings, kinship care (AKA raised by a family member) ---- adoption, guardianship or reunification (AKA returning home after foster care) following your time in out of home placement, continuation with DCF after 18?

Friends of Foster Care (Allies) are welcome to attend if attending with an alumni or someone currently experiencing foster care. Current and/or former foster youth below the age of 18 are welcome to attend with an adult.
CHILDREN at this event: A parent or guardian must accompany children under the age of 18 at MassNFCA Events.
