Mass Timber in the City: Opportunities & Challenges for Residential Design

Mass timber projects are grabbing the spotlight in cities across the country. The dual appeal of sustainability and warmer aesthetics are pushing more residential developers to consider mass timber construction, but fire safety and building codes pose special challenges in locations like New York City.
