Masonic Walking Tour
About this Event
Embark on a 75-minute guided tour around Covent Garden, the Strand and the surrounding streets, starting and ending at Freemasons’ Hall. Led by an experienced guide, you will learn about the history of Freemasonry, its influence on society and how it was spread across the world.
Listen to stories of famous Masons in the Armed Forces, the arts and sciences, those who served as Prime Ministers and members of the Royal Family.
You will also hear about the Masonic detective who arrested the Kray Twins and another who may have identified Jack the Ripper!
This tour has a duration of 75 to 80 minutes and also includes stories of Masons from across the globe and historic streets and landmarks such as :
