Why This Event Exists
The Masonic Mile was created to honor those who serve — our active-duty service members, veterans, and their families — and to ensure that when they need support, it is there for them.
This event benefits the Pennsylvania Grand Lodge’s Help For Our Heroes Fund, which provides direct assistance to service members and veterans facing hardship.
Why 2026 Matters
This inaugural Masonic Mile takes place during the 250th Anniversary of American Independence, a moment that invites reflection on service, sacrifice, and the enduring responsibility we share to care for one another.
Who Can Participate
You do not need to be in the military.
You do not need to be a runner.
You can support the Masonic Mile by:
• Walking or running the mile
• Volunteering your time
• Sponsoring the event
• Donating in support of our heroes
• Simply helping us spread the word
This is a community event, open to families, friends, Masons, veterans, and supporters from all walks of life.
