We are assembling a special 55th Anniversary Alumni Band, bringing together former students from across generations to rehearse, reconnect, and perform together again.
From April 16–18, 2026, experience three unforgettable days of celebration, including rehearsal of the Mason Alumni Concert Band (Thursday, April 16), the 55th Anniversary Concert featuring the Mason Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band (Friday, April 17), and the Anniversary Luncheon (Saturday, April 18). This weekend will bring together generations of musicians to share the stage in a moving tribute to our past, present, and future.
The 55th Anniversary Mason Alumni Concert Band will be conducted by the directors of bands who have shaped our program through the decades: Professors Anthony Maiello, Mark Camphouse, and current Director of Bands William L. Lake Jr., DMA.
Whether you graduated recently or decades ago, this ensemble is meant to represent the sound, spirit, and community that defined your time at Mason.
This is more than a concert. It’s an opportunity to sit next to friends you haven’t seen in years, meet the next generation of Mason musicians, and celebrate the shared experience that connects all Mason Bands alumni.
We are building a balanced ensemble across all instruments and are currently filling the roster. If you are able to participate, please sign up as soon as possible so we can complete instrumentation and share music and logistics.
