A two-day experiential institute exploring masculinity, gender, sexuality, and relational dynamics for all genders.
About this Event

Butch. Bro. Tomboy. Stud. Daddy. Macho. Masc. Father. Man. What identities signify masculinity? This two-day training Institute aims to gather a group of members and facilitators across gender and sexuality to explore themes and relationality in the context of masculinity. Together, the group will have the opportunity to experientially reconstruct masculinity in a microcosm of the current sociopolitical moment. People of all genders who experience a masculine aspect of self are invited to participate.

This workshop is a two-day, experiential group therapy training Institute, with didactic learning and Q&A at the end of each day to examine the facilitators’ choices and process, and integrate professional learning from the experiential portion of the Institute.

The experiential training group portion of the Institute will be run using modern analytic tools informed by queer and feminist psychotherapy practice. Attention will be paid by facilitators to group processes related to aggression, competition, leadership, intimacy, attraction, and dynamics of power, privilege, and oppression.

This program will be offering 11.5 CEs for those who attend in full.

Level: Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced

Seats are limited in order to ensure an intimate training.
