From the streets of Jenin Refugee Camp, through the walls of an Israeli prison, and onto the stage—And Here I Am is Ahmed Tobasi’s personal story of resistance, humour, and hope.
This performance blends reality and imagination, tragedy and laughter, reminding us that the fight for freedom and identity is far from over.
The play is part of a special Masahat Festival theatre night on 19 September at Nordic Black Theatre, where two gripping stories from Syria and Palestine unfold back-to-back.
