Please check the Monroe Fairgrounds website to confirm this event is still going on due to the EHV outbreak. If still attending know the risks to your horse and those where you stable your horse. Western Washington folks - let's get out of the rain and the dark and go to ride night at the fairgrounds! Keep your horse fit over the winter and enjoy the fantastic footing. These are a great opportunities to ride with others and maybe make a new friend.
The Evergreen Fairgrounds hosts these nights for the local horse community. Let's show the fairgrounds how much we appreciate them and turn out for these ride nights!
Please see below for all the details from the fairgrounds and fill out the waiver before you go to save time at the venue.
Open Rides
Open Rides will take place in the Indoor Arena (100) for exercising and conditioning your horse. All sessions dependent on weather and road conditions. Please call before 4pm to check to see if session has been cancelled.
2024-25 Schedule: Monday, 5pm-9pm

December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

February 3, 10
NO OPEN RIDES: November 11 and January 20.
Cost
Cost is $10 per person -Cash or Check Accepted

Rules
The following Open Ride rules apply:
Each participant must sign a waiver prior to being able to ride. Download Waiver Here (PDF) (WORD)
If rider is 17 years or younger, parent or guardian must sign the waiver and must stay on site while rider is riding.
No lessons or teaching
No Stallions, Racing, Lunging, Ponying, Green Horse Training
Participants MUST take home their horse manure. This simple act of courtesy is super critical for this program to continue.
Please park in the north parking lot and walk your horse down to the Arena.
